Clinical Research Associate (CRA) / Senior CRA - Radiopharmaceutical Therapies (Remote, US)

Overview

Fortrea is seeking experienced Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) with expertise in radiopharmaceutical therapies to join its Full Service Outsourcing team. Candidates should have at least one year of independent monitoring experience within CRO or sponsor environments. The role supports multiple sponsors and involves significant travel commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all facets of clinical study site monitoring including routine and close-out visits, pre-study and initiation assessments, and upkeep of study documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and execute comprehensive site management aligned with project plans.
• Conduct general on-site monitoring to ensure compliance and data accuracy.
• Verify study staff’s readiness and protocol compliance to safely enroll participants.
• Protect participant safety by ensuring adherence to informed consent procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain data integrity by reviewing Case Report Forms (CRFs) and other data collection tools for accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee registry management and perform feasibility assessments when necessary.
• Complete Serious Adverse Event (SAE) reporting including narrative preparation and follow-up actions.
• Perform independent CRF reviews, generate queries, and resolve data issues using Fortrea or client databases.
• Support training of new team members through co-monitoring activities.
• Serve as a Local Project Coordinator for designated clinical studies, providing local client interaction under supervision.
• Fulfill additional assignments as directed by management.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, university diploma, or certification in a related health field from an accredited institution (e.g., nursing license).
• Minimum of one year of clinical monitoring experience.
• Prior experience with radiopharmaceutical therapies is preferred.
• Willingness to be based in various key U.S. hub locations.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment demanding strict adherence to protocol and deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork aptitude critical for effective study operations.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Primary work is office-based with the necessity of frequent domestic and occasional international travel (60-70%, 8-10 days on-site monthly).
• Physical requirements include prolonged sitting, safe driving, manual dexterity for computer use, occasional bending and lifting (up to 15-20 lbs), and adaptability to varied working hours.
• Consistent attendance and reliable mobility are essential.

Compensation and Benefits

• Target salary range: $105,000 to $145,000 annually, based on position title.
