Job description

About the Company

The employer is a healthcare organization focused on delivering patient-centered care across a broad range of clinical services. Its work spans urgent care, occupational health, physical therapy, radiology, nursing, and other specialty areas, supported by a large clinic network and partnerships that help expand access for diverse patient groups. The culture emphasizes teamwork, inclusion, integrity, professionalism, and ongoing improvement.

Role Overview

This position is responsible for recruiting clinical talent for a healthcare environment. The recruiter will work with hiring leaders to understand staffing requirements, shape sourcing approaches, and maintain a steady pipeline of qualified candidates for hard-to-fill clinical roles. The role supports staffing for areas such as radiology, therapy, nursing, and related specialties, while also contributing to broader talent acquisition goals and growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to draft, review, and confirm requisitions so the role requirements are clearly defined, including education, experience, technical capability, and any travel or relocation expectations.
  • Use a mix of established and creative sourcing methods to find strong candidates.
  • Develop candidate pipelines through educational partnerships and professional associations, especially for clinical fields.
  • Source, screen, and recruit candidates for contract, contract-to-permanent, and permanent clinical openings.
  • Evaluate applicants to confirm alignment with position expectations and organizational standards.
  • Manage offer discussions, support negotiations, and help guide new hires through onboarding.
  • Keep relationships active with potential candidates to support future hiring needs.
  • Record candidate details and recruitment progress accurately in the applicant tracking system.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly hiring reports to track performance and guide decisions.
  • Review requisitions and candidate records for compliance and accurate data handling.
  • Build strong working relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and internal partners through dependable and professional communication.
  • Take part in efforts to improve recruitment processes and overall efficiency.
  • Handle additional duties as business needs change.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a similar field from an accredited institution, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of clinical recruiting experience, with a preference for backgrounds in radiology, therapy, nursing, or similar clinical specialties.
  • Prior experience in multi-specialty practices, hospital environments, or locum tenens/placement firms is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain educational partnerships and relationships with professional organizations tied to clinical hiring.
  • Experience recruiting across all 50 states is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws, including EEOC and OFCCP requirements.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with candidates, managers, and senior leaders.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Willingness to travel when needed, with reliable transportation and compliance with company travel guidelines.
  • Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting, with initiative and flexibility.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay and overall compensation package.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Paid time off plus company holidays.
  • Opportunities to build skills and advance professionally.
  • Flexible working arrangements, including remote options.
  • Travel reimbursement and support for transportation-related needs under company policy.
  • A supportive team culture with attention to work-life balance.
