Curai Health creates AI-powered health agents that work alongside a virtual primary care clinic. The company combines machine learning with a specially trained clinical team to provide convenient, easy-to-use primary care at a much lower cost than traditional healthcare.

This organization operates in a remote-first model and reviews candidates from anywhere in the United States. Its corporate office is based in San Francisco.

Role Overview

Curai Health is hiring an experienced Clinical Recruiter to help expand clinical hiring during a growth phase. This engagement is project-based, structured as an independent contractor (1099) role, and is centered on developing strong candidate pipelines.

What You Will Do

  • Work with hiring partners to define clinical role needs, including licensure expectations, hiring priorities, and timing.
  • Find candidates through job boards, social platforms, professional communities, referrals, and healthcare industry groups.
  • Run focused searches using applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn, and recruiting databases.
  • Create and manage talent pools for immediate and future clinical hiring needs.
  • Evaluate applicants for clinical background, licenses, credentials, and overall suitability for the role.
  • Provide hiring insights on market availability, compensation patterns, and licensing factors.

What You Need

  • At least 5 years of end-to-end recruiting experience in healthcare or clinical hiring, with direct exposure to Nurse Practitioners and/or Physicians.
  • At least 2 years of recruiting experience in a fast-growing startup, preferably in digital health or telemedicine.
  • Solid knowledge of clinical credentialing, multi-state licensure, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated success sourcing hard-to-find licensed healthcare talent.
  • Hands-on experience using AI as part of the recruiting workflow.
  • Comfort managing several active searches at the same time without close supervision.
  • Strong sourcing and candidate screening abilities, including outreach to passive talent.
  • Experience with Lever or a similar applicant tracking system.

Compensation

The pay range for this role is $60 to $80 per hour, with workload capped at up to 35 hours per week.
