Job description

Role overview

Inizio Engage is working with a science-led biopharmaceutical organization to hire a motivated Clinical Nurse Educator. In this field-based role, you will provide education and training support to healthcare professionals and office personnel in oncology settings, helping them manage patients with cancer in line with company, client, and manager expectations.

What you will do

  • Deliver in-service education to healthcare professionals and their staff on product knowledge, disease state details, dosing, administration, and adverse event information.
  • Lead educational sessions tailored to the needs of each office.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the client’s field sales team, including representatives and district managers, on program matters.
  • Escalate any issues discovered during education visits to the manager, who serves as the main contact for client communications.
  • Track and submit visit details accurately and on time, including visit type, duration, and office visited.
  • Document interactions with healthcare professionals and office staff.
  • Handle administrative work promptly, such as daily system updates, weekly activity summaries, email communication, and monthly expense reporting.
  • Plan and coordinate travel to oncology offices alongside client sales representatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
  • Complete all required training and competency checks within the required timelines and standards.
  • Attend local and national meetings or conferences when needed to stay current on program developments and share knowledge with the team.
  • Maintain all assigned equipment and materials according to company guidance.
  • Follow all company and client policies and procedures.
  • Keep professional registration or licensure current as required by state law.
  • Maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license and report any offences or point accumulation immediately.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned.

Required background

  • An active nursing license in good standing in at least one state where the in-services will be delivered.
  • At least 3 years of oncology nursing experience, including direct patient care, physical assessment, patient education, group in-servicing, and peripheral IV access proficiency.
  • Hands-on chemotherapy infusion experience.
  • Strong ability to solve problems.
  • Excellent organization skills; prior territory management experience is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Valid motor vehicle license and proof of insurance.
  • Willingness to travel, including overnight trips; travel may reach 100% depending on the territory.
  • Strong speaking, writing, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to run one-on-one and group presentations while managing the administrative demands of a field territory role.

Preferred qualifications

  • CRNI certification in IV therapy is preferred.
  • Experience in adult oncology is preferred.

Compensation and benefits

The base salary range for this position is $84,000 to $156,000 per year. Final pay will depend on experience, skills, internal equity, and business requirements.
