Job description

About the role

CORTO is looking for a Client Success Manager to help law firms adopt its AI-enabled LegalTech platform and to shape the client success function as the company scales. This role sits in a fast-moving, Sydney-based team and involves supporting customers through onboarding, training, adoption and long-term success, with a focus on improving retention and expanding account value.

You will work across a portfolio of law firm customers and collaborate closely with sales, product and support teams to deliver a strong customer experience. The position is hybrid, with two days each week in the office.

About CORTO

CORTO is a software company focused on modernising the legal sector through AI-powered tools that help legal practitioners work more efficiently. Its products are designed for lawyers, paralegals and legal assistants, reducing repetitive tasks, simplifying document handling and improving decision-making so legal teams can spend more time on high-value work.

The business is growing quickly, expanding from 80 to more than 150 employees. Most of the team are developers and engineers, and the company operates with a highly technical, high-performing culture. CORTO is part of ATI Global, a large international LegalTech group.

What you'll do

  • Take ownership of onboarding success, customer adoption and renewal health across your assigned accounts.
  • Guide new customers through implementation, setup, training and early product usage.
  • Develop trusted relationships with law firm accounts teams, practice managers, lawyers and other key stakeholders.
  • Help customers use the software effectively in their everyday legal and finance operations.
  • Support workflows connected to matters, billing, invoicing, payments, reconciliations and accounts processes.
  • Use your knowledge of law firm finance operations to improve customer efficiency, accuracy and confidence.
  • Track customer health, engagement, satisfaction and adoption trends.
  • Spot risks early and act quickly to strengthen customer outcomes.
  • Lead training sessions, check-ins, product demonstrations and enablement activities.
  • Work alongside sales, product, marketing and support teams to enhance the overall customer journey.
  • Collect customer feedback and turn it into actionable insights for product and leadership teams.
  • Keep CRM and customer success records current with notes, activity updates and success plans.

What we're looking for

  • At least 3 years of experience in client success or account management, ideally with exposure to bookkeeping, accounting or legal billing workflows.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain processes in a clear, steady and practical way.
  • A problem-solving mindset and the confidence to help customers navigate unfamiliar workflows.
  • Comfort learning new software quickly and helping others become confident users.
  • Someone who builds trust easily with both customers and internal teams.
  • A patient, organised and disciplined approach to follow-through, records and next steps.
  • The ability to balance detailed financial understanding with a warm, customer-focused style.
  • Curiosity about technology, professional services and the role AI can play in improving law firm operations.
  • If you meet some, but not all, of the requirements, you are still encouraged to apply.

Why join CORTO

  • Your work will directly support real-world legal practices and the communities they serve.
  • You will have autonomy and trust to contribute to meaningful, complex projects.
  • You will join a team of genuine, passionate people.
  • The company is well funded and backed globally through ATI Global.
  • Flexible hybrid working is part of the culture.
  • There are strong opportunities for career growth and learning in a scaling business.
  • The team also enjoys socials, celebrations, sports activities, sailing and yacht events.
  • Additional time off, gym membership and other wellbeing perks are offered.
