About the Company

DDN is a long-established innovator in AI and high-performance data storage, with more than twenty years of experience serving demanding data-center environments worldwide. The company is recognized for supporting AI infrastructure across sectors such as healthcare, life sciences, financial services, autonomous vehicles, government, academia, research, manufacturing, and other data-intensive industries.

As a global leader in AI and multi-cloud data management, DDN helps organizations accelerate machine learning and advanced analytics workloads through a platform built for performance, reliability, and scale.

DDN describes itself as a place where innovation, customer focus, and technical excellence come together to create meaningful impact in the future of AI and data infrastructure.

Role Overview

DDN is hiring a Client Director for the Middle East to lead revenue growth for its Artificial Intelligence business. This is a quota-bearing sales position focused on expanding the company’s footprint across the region by building opportunities in enterprise and research environments that rely on large-scale AI and high-performance computing infrastructure.

The role involves working closely with enterprise customers, research organizations, and cloud-focused businesses to deliver infrastructure solutions that support GPU-based computing, model training, and other demanding AI workloads.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategic AI sales motion across the assigned Middle East territory and help expand adoption of DDN’s infrastructure offerings.
  • Deliver against, and aim to exceed, the assigned sales quota for the region.
  • Create and execute account and territory strategies for organizations deploying AI and high-performance computing at scale.
  • Find, assess, and develop new opportunities in sectors such as financial services, healthcare, telecom, technology, research, and large enterprises.
  • Build strong relationships with senior technical stakeholders, AI infrastructure teams, and executive buyers.
  • Work with solutions architects and engineering teams to shape and present storage and infrastructure solutions.
  • Lead presentations, demos, and proposals that clearly communicate the value of DDN’s AI-optimized platforms.
  • Manage the end-to-end enterprise sales process, including pipeline creation, forecasting, negotiations, and closing.
  • Develop productive partnerships with channel partners, system integrators, OEMs, and distributors to widen market access.
  • Keep up to date on trends in AI infrastructure, GPU computing, large-model training, and high-performance data environments.
  • Represent DDN at conferences, industry events, and customer meetings to create opportunities and strengthen the brand.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience selling enterprise technology, ideally in storage, compute, networking, or infrastructure products.
  • Proven background in selling AI infrastructure, HPC solutions, cloud platforms, or enterprise data-center technologies.
  • Hands-on experience managing complex sales cycles that involve both technical evaluators and senior business decision-makers.
  • Additional advantage if you have sold GPU clusters, AI infrastructure, or high-performance computing platforms.
  • Helpful familiarity with the AI ecosystem, including NVIDIA, Intel, AMD, Cerebras, Graphcore, or Google TPU.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise storage technologies such as SAN, NAS, object storage, and parallel file systems.
  • Experience collaborating with channel partners, system integrators, and distributor networks.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes, OpenStack, and large-scale AI data-center environments is preferred.

What DDN Looks For

Successful team members are expected to demonstrate the following traits: independent initiative to solve problems, a strong drive to deliver measurable outcomes, a structured and practical approach to problem solving, and the ability to improve business processes through new ideas and creative thinking.
