Job Summary

The Client Advisor plays a vital role in cultivating relationships with new and returning clients at Burberry, aiming to provide an exceptional, personalised luxury experience while achieving commercial success. Reporting directly to the store management team, the advisor inspires through passion for the brand, fashion trends, and luxury products by delivering expert styling and sales expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets alongside other commercial KPIs.
  • Engage customers by telling captivating stories about the brand to foster desire and brand loyalty with every interaction.
  • Deliver distinguished luxury service underpinned by extensive knowledge of products, fashion, and styling.
  • Guide customers through a comprehensive client experience journey from first impression to follow-up services, maintaining strong relationships.
  • Efficiently manage after-sales communication and service delivery to clients.
  • Support daily store operations by upholding high luxury standards both in front and back-of-house areas, including product replenishment, inventory control, markdowns, and stockroom upkeep.
  • Observe company policies and adhere to Burberry's visual merchandising standards to maintain brand aesthetics.
  • Cultivate a positive, collaborative team environment.
  • Develop and nurture meaningful client relationships, scheduling appointments for personalised services to boost loyalty and increase sales.
  • Identify and attract new luxury clients to expand the client base with a focused commercial approach.
  • Maintain client retention through regular contact and diligent follow-ups addressing sales and client needs.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven history of surpassing sales goals and thriving in clientelling roles.
  • Keen interest in fashion, art, and cultural trends.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations and product expertise.
  • Knowledge of competitor luxury products.
  • Experience collaborating within team settings.
  • Fluency in the local language is essential, with English and additional languages viewed favorably.
  • Possesses confidence, curiosity, conviction, and empathy.
  • Enjoys teamwork, is energetic, proactive, and self-driven.
  • Detail-focused, creative, and passionate about sales.
  • Exhibits assertiveness with excellent communication and presentation skills in interactions with clients and staff.
