About EphemAI™
EphemAI™ develops cutting-edge rollback-first enforcement solutions designed to safeguard AI agent and system event triggers, utilizing AI-powered detection technologies. The company prioritizes protecting digital environments by quickly detecting unauthorized or risky actions and enabling secure rollback capabilities. EphemAI™ serves clients focused on enhancing resilience, reliability, and security in AI-driven automation workflows, collaborating closely with technology partners in markets like New Zealand.
Role Overview
This fully remote contract role centers on acquiring clients in the New Zealand market, targeting AI and security architecture channels as well as VAR/MSP/MSSP partners. Key activities include identifying and qualifying potential clients and partners, conducting outreach campaigns, and presenting EphemAI™’s rollback enforcement solutions to both technical and business stakeholders.
The role also encompasses cooperating with AI and security architects, value-added resellers, managed service providers, and managed security service providers to customize solutions and messaging for local needs. Responsibilities involve maintaining a well-organized sales pipeline, preparing proposals, supporting internal technical discussions, and delivering frequent reports on sales activities, conversion rates, and market insights. The ideal candidate must proactively build and nurture relationships, fully grasp client environments, and align EphemAI™’s offerings with client AI and security requirements.
Required Qualifications

- Experience working with or within VAR, MSP, or MSSP organizations, skilled at developing and managing partner relationships.
- Knowledge of AI systems, security frameworks, and automated workflows, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to architects and engineering teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills adept at addressing both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to independently manage work in a remote environment, demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills to maintain a structured sales or partnership pipeline.
- Familiarity with contract-based relationships, solution selling methodologies, and consultative client needs assessment.
- Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) tools or similar platforms to monitor leads, opportunities, and results.
- Understanding of New Zealand’s regulatory and security considerations related to AI and system event monitoring is advantageous.
- Relevant academic background or certifications in business, IT, cybersecurity, or related fields are desirable but not mandatory.
