Role Overview
This position is based at Safeway in Sardis, British Columbia, and sits within Sobeys’ store operations group. The role is part of the production line team and supports efficient preparation of grocery products in a fast-paced retail food environment.

What You Will Do
In this role, you will assemble products on the production line by placing ingredients on bread, arranging items in trays, applying labels, and keeping output moving smoothly. You will need to work accurately, maintain a steady pace, and coordinate closely with teammates while following directions.
Operational Expectations
The work calls for good hand coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to handle small items quickly without losing accuracy. Some lifting is required, including loads up to 40 pounds, and the job takes place in a cool environment between 1 and 4 degrees Celsius.
Experience
- No prior experience is necessary.
- Experience in food production is considered an advantage.

- Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 40 pounds, including waist-level and low-level lifts.
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment set at 1 to 4 degrees Celsius.
