Role overview
The Intermarket Supply Planner is responsible for keeping products moving smoothly across markets. This includes supply planning, replenishment, and customs coordination, while maintaining the right balance between service levels, inventory, cost control, compliance, and product availability.
This role works closely with demand planning, production, procurement, logistics, customs brokers, and commercial teams to support end-to-end supply execution.
Key responsibilities
- Create short- and medium-term supply plans using demand forecasts and inventory rules.
- Translate demand plans into market-level supply needs while managing constraints and service priorities across multiple dairies.
- Spot supply risks, prepare mitigation actions, and track supplier and production performance.
- Take part in S&OE and S&OP discussions.
- Plan replenishment orders and intercompany stock transfers across the KSA network.
- Maintain healthy inventory by reviewing coverage, safety stock, reorder settings, and overall stock health.
- Reduce excess and obsolete inventory and propose corrective actions where needed.
- Improve replenishment frequency and shipment size.
- Handle import and export clearance activity, including accurate and compliant documentation, authority and broker coordination, shipment tracking, and resolution of clearance delays.
- Ensure alignment with customs rules, trade regulations, company policies, and SFDA requirements, while keeping records audit-ready.
- Coordinate with warehouse, transport, and customer service teams to maintain smooth port-to-warehouse movement and manage bonded, import, and re-export shipments efficiently.
- Control demurrage, detention, and penalty expenses, monitor clearance and compliance KPIs, and support process improvements.
- Work with customs authorities, freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to close queries and prevent shipment delays.
- Monitor inbound shipments, milestones, and delivery performance.
- Coordinate with logistics providers to solve transport issues and ensure warehouse availability.
- Expedite urgent shipments when required.
- Simplify supply chain processes and refine planning parameters.
- Shorten customs clearance lead times and improve supply visibility.
- Support supply chain transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in supply planning, replenishment planning, import/export operations, or supply chain planning.
- Experience managing international supply flows.
- Background in FMCG, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods environments is preferred.

This position is based onsite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and is a full-time role.
Qualifications
Degree-level education in a relevant field is required, with preference for candidates who have worked in supply chain, logistics, or cross-border operations.
