About the role
This position is based on an evening schedule, running from 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
The Cleanroom Operator will handle a range of duties connected to the repackaging of biological products. This includes setting up and operating equipment used in the cleanroom, carrying out routine upkeep, visually inspecting items, rejecting nonconforming products, and repackaging pharmaceutical products and excipients.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and process materials used for repackaging.
- Work in line with strict GMP requirements at all times.
- Accurately record work completed on batch records, SOP documents, or other approved documentation.
- Contribute to developing and updating area SOPs and batch records.
- Support facility start-up, equipment installation, and validation work for new product introductions.
- Complete housekeeping duties and keep the production area, including the cleanroom, in excellent condition.
- Train colleagues in any part of the role when needed.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by a supervisor or manager.
Skills and attributes
- Comfort working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-moving environment.
- Adaptable, proactive, and able to take initiative.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
Requirements
- Previous cleanroom experience is preferred, though not mandatory because full training will be provided.
