About the Role
This is a full-time cleaning role based at Pacific Fair in Broadbeach, Queensland. The shift pattern runs from Sunday to Thursday, 9:54 pm to 5:30 am. Applicants with commercial or retail cleaning experience are encouraged to apply, especially those who want to contribute to a team that adds value on-site. Pay is aligned with the Cleaning Services Award 2020.
Key Duties
- Carry out cleaning tasks to maintain a high standard across the site.
- Work independently while remaining proactive and well presented.
- Use cleaning methods and machinery safely and effectively, including equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, and car park sweepers where required.
- Follow safe work practices and handle chemicals correctly.
- Keep to instructions, communicate clearly, and support the wider team.
- Be available for flexible hours and public holidays as needed.
What You Need
- Previous experience in commercial or retail cleaning is preferred, though training will be provided.
- Knowledge of chemical handling and cleaning procedures, or a willingness to learn.
- Experience with cleaning machinery is an advantage.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Physical fitness to handle routine cleaning duties and extended periods of walking.
- Good listening skills and the ability to follow directions.
- Ability to communicate in both spoken and written English.
- Valid Australian work rights.
