Job description

Role overview

Join a team that takes pride in keeping the store clean, organized, and welcoming for customers. This part-time Cleaning Team Member position is focused on maintaining a polished appearance across the store and surrounding areas, with an additional pay premium of $1.50 per hour for work performed between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am.

Work style

Part-time team members are assigned to one store, which provides consistency and a clear routine. The company also notes that full-time team members may work across two locations, but this posting is for a part-time onsite position.

Key duties

The role covers a broad set of cleaning and upkeep tasks throughout the location, including customer-facing and back-of-house spaces. The objective is to help the store stay in top condition at all times.

Additional responsibilities and coverage

Tasks may include cleaning service areas, maintaining fuel dispensing units, stocking and cleaning car washes where applicable, and handling snow removal when needed. Team members are also expected to support the store wherever help is required to keep operations running smoothly.

Compensation and benefits

In addition to the hourly pay structure, the company highlights quarterly employee bonuses tied to business performance. Benefits mentioned include PTO, 100% paid parental leave for mothers and fathers, a 401(k) match, employee stock ownership, ongoing professional development, $5,250 in annual tuition reimbursement, full medical/vision/dental coverage, uniforms, and snack discounts.

Eligibility and accommodations

High school completion or an equivalent credential is preferred. Prior janitorial or cleaning experience is helpful, and light equipment maintenance ability is also preferred. The employer states that qualified individuals with disabilities will be considered and reasonable accommodations will be reviewed for applicants who can perform the essential duties with or without accommodation.

Store upkeep areas

  • Keep windows, service areas, parking spaces, curbside zones, dumpster areas, floors, restrooms, food and beverage areas, coolers, freezers, and the overall grounds clean and presentable.
  • Inspect and clean service areas, maintain fuel dispensing units, and help keep the property looking its best.
  • Assist with snow removal when conditions require it.
  • Support the team with any cleaning-related needs to maintain a spotless customer experience.

Additional job information

An extra $1.50 per hour is paid for shifts worked from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.

Accommodation notice

The company says it is committed to full inclusion of qualified applicants and will consider people with disabilities who can complete the essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
