As a Cleaning and Inspection associate for finished goods, you will be an integral player in upholding our high standards, ensuring that every item meets our quality expectations before it reaches our customers. Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate completed products for quality and adhere to inspection criteria as outlined in provided worksheets.
- Identify product defects, record them in the tracking system, and communicate findings effectively.
- Meet or exceed daily productivity targets while maintaining strict product quality standards.
- Utilize various tools — including air guns, oil sprays, cleaning solutions, and clippers — to inspect and clean items thoroughly.
- Strive for optimal productivity, aiming for or surpassing the company’s efficiency goals.
- Keep workstations organized and clean to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow all health and safety policies, workplace conduct rules, and company procedures.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Familiarity with identifying fabric and stitching defects — previous experience in the manufacturing or apparel sector is beneficial.
- Steady hand and strong manual dexterity for precise handling of finished products.
- Ability to follow instructions closely, address problems, and take initiative when resolving issues.
- Work efficiently both in a team setting and independently in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a solid understanding of quality and construction requirements.
- Effective communication skills in English are essential.
- Physical capability to stand for an entire shift and to function in a production environment with moderate noise.
Work Environment
- The role takes place in a manufacturing setting, with ongoing exposure to some noise.
- You may work with products that contain down.
