Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a dependable and self-driven Cleaner / Property Maintenance Officer to support our expanding portfolio of short-term rental and shared accommodation properties in Sydney. The role involves travelling between multiple locations to maintain cleanliness, inspect property conditions, and perform minor repairs.
Key Duties
- Travel to various residential sites across Sydney during the day
- Thoroughly clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and communal areas
- Maintain properties in a neat and presentable state for guests
- Inspect rooms and shared spaces for any damage, missing items, or maintenance issues
- Restock essential household items as needed
- Report problems promptly to management
- Assist with small repair and maintenance tasks such as changing locks, replacing light bulbs, and tightening fixtures, when capable
- Ensure that all assigned work is finished on time and meets high-quality standards
- Operate independently and manage the daily cleaning schedule effectively
Qualifications and Requirements
- Preferably has prior cleaning experience
- Valid driver’s licence and comfortable driving around Sydney
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work autonomously without constant supervision
- Good communication skills in English
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Physically capable of performing cleaning duties
- Basic handyman skills will be considered a valuable asset
- Available to work six days per week, including mandatory weekends
- Must have legal working rights in Australia
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 depending on experience and qualifications
