Role overview
Apex Car Rentals in Queenstown is seeking a hands-on Vehicle Service Agent to help keep the fleet in excellent condition. This position suits someone with strong attention to detail, a positive work ethic, and comfort with physical work in a busy environment.
Employment details

What you will do
You will play an important part in preparing vehicles so they are ready for customer use and meet quality standards.
- Clean, wash, vacuum, and prepare both the inside and outside of returned vehicles
- Inspect vehicles for any new damage and report findings according to the damage process
- Check fuel levels and recorded mileage, then enter the details into handheld devices when needed
- Top up fuel tanks and inspect fluid levels, tyre pressure, and tread depth
What we are looking for
- A full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is required
- Experience in a physical, practical, or labour-focused role is preferred
- Ability to maintain quality in a fast-moving workplace and across all weather conditions
- Comfort with following set procedures, company rules, and standards
Working conditions
The operation runs seven days a week from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm. You will be rostered for 40 hours weekly within these hours, which can include early starts, evenings, full weekends, and public holidays as needed.
