Position Summary

Join Boylesports as a Cleaner, crucial in preserving a neat, orderly, and inviting atmosphere for both customers and employees at our premises in Cookstown, Northern Ireland. Your duties encompass upholding hygiene standards throughout bathrooms, betting zones, and communal areas.

Key Duties

• Carry out routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing various surfaces.
• Thoroughly clean and disinfect restrooms, addressing sinks, toilets, and floors.
• Dispose of waste by emptying bins and replacing liners appropriately.
• Ensure betting terminals and gaming areas remain clean and spotless.
• Keep track of cleaning supplies and replenish when necessary.
• Adhere strictly to prescribed cleaning schedules and methodologies.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and standards.
• Promptly notify management of any maintenance concerns or safety risks encountered.

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the location.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently.
• Meticulous attention to detail ensuring comprehensive task completion.
• Effective communication skills coupled with a positive demeanor.
• Capable of following instructions accurately.

Work Schedule

The position involves working between 4 to 7 days weekly, depending on the store’s needs. Shifts typically range from 1 to 2 hours daily and are scheduled outside of Boylesports' operational hours.
