Role Overview

We are seeking multiple Class 2 Drivers based in Blackburn (BB1 2PT) to join our permanent team. The position requires working approximately 46 hours weekly, typically Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work any 5 days within a 7-day span. Start times can begin from 5 am onwards. As a crucial member of the transport team reporting to the Transport Shift Manager, you will be responsible for operating vehicles up to 26 tonnes to deliver stock to customers safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and manage lorries weighing up to 26 tonnes to deliver goods to customer locations.
• Assist Driver’s Mates and warehouse personnel with loading and unloading stock.
• Foster positive relationships with clients and internal teams alike.
• Utilize knowledge of the local area to ensure timely and safe deliveries.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines throughout all duties.
• Unload stock safely at customer sites and reload empty kegs for return transport.

Required Experience and Qualities

• Possession of a valid Class 2 Driver’s License and CPC Drivers Card.
• Current understanding of the Highway Code and relevant driving safety legislation.
• Familiarity with the local geographic region for navigation.
• Customer service skills to maintain excellent client interactions.
• Manual handling experience or willingness to undergo training during induction.

• Annual salary of £38,541, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the standard rate.
