About the Role
Zurich North America is looking for upbeat, self-driven customer care professionals to join its Claims Call Center team, with a planned start in early August 2026. This position is fully remote, including the training period, and the training program runs for six weeks to prepare you for the role.
Zurich is a major multi-line insurer serving customers in both global and local markets, including individuals, small businesses, mid-sized and large organizations, and multinational corporations.
Candidates must live in the United States. The preferred time zones are Central, Pacific, and Mountain.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process first notice of loss claim reports through Zurich’s phone and non-phone reporting channels, making sure information is handled promptly and accurately.
- Handle difficult claim-related questions and issues, and escalate them appropriately when additional support or expertise is needed.
- Work with internal teams and external customers to exchange details, confirm facts, and close out questions or problems efficiently.
- Share suggestions and observations that can help raise the quality of customer service within the team.
- Adhere to company procedures and support compliance with risk and regulatory requirements.
Schedule and Working Conditions
This is a full-time remote role with an 8-hour shift scheduled between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, based on Central Time.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range for this position is $17.79 to $21.64. The role also includes eligibility for a short-term incentive bonus of 5%. Pay is determined by the role, location, skills, and experience, and may vary by location.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 6 months of customer service experience
- Experience with data entry
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 6 months of call center experience
- Strong data entry ability, including typing 32 words per minute or more
- Comfort using Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to move quickly between multiple screens and browsers with accuracy
- Strong reading comprehension and a professional manner
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Prior insurance knowledge is a plus
Work-from-Home Requirements
- A dedicated workspace that is free from noise and distractions
- A stable high-speed internet connection of at least 5 Mbps upload and 10 Mbps download
