CL08 ESG Service Supervisor I - Slickline

Role overview

This position is for an experienced slickline services professional who will lead a crew on routine slickline jobs in a defined area. The role sits within Halliburton’s global energy services operations and focuses on safe, efficient delivery, customer coordination, and on-site execution.

Key duties

• Supervise a crew while delivering the least complex slickline services in the assigned geographic area.
• Take responsibility for customer satisfaction at the well site and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
• Discuss products and service requirements with customers and support positive customer relations during job execution.
• Review the job design and verify that the job packet contains the correct tools, equipment, and processes needed to complete the assignment.
• Ensure the unit, wellhead pressure control equipment, and downhole tools are ready, complete, and suitable for the job.
• Carry out the job in line with HMS procedures and other applicable operating standards.
• Use technical judgment to handle unexpected field situations and coordinate with the HES operations base when needed.
• Perform emergency maintenance on equipment or the unit at the job site when required.
• Understand pre-job and post-job service activities and take part in them as required by location.
• Keep assigned equipment in good condition and ensure full compliance with safety rules and procedures.
• Work with third parties whose activities may affect slickline operations to ensure proper coordination and job flow.
• Train service operators and operator assistants in areas where you have expertise.
• Promote safety awareness and environmental responsibility while following all health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations.
• Carry out and document site assessments, risk reviews, toolbox talks, PPE usage, and other HSE activities at the well site.
• Complete well-site records and post-job paperwork accurately and on time.
• Participate in post-job reviews with the supervisor.
• Support continuous quality improvement efforts.
• Identify potential opportunities to offer additional HES products and services and pass them to the appropriate team.
• Continue building the skills needed to handle more complex and broader HES services.
• Develop customer service, negotiation, and leadership capabilities.

Requirements

• Prior experience in field operations within slickline or a closely related oilfield service environment.
• Ability to lead a small crew and work with general supervision.
• Working knowledge of well-site equipment, slickline tools, and pressure control equipment.
• Ability to review job packages and confirm equipment readiness before execution.
• Comfort working under Halliburton management systems and site safety procedures.
• Ability to respond to unexpected field issues and make practical technical decisions on site.
• Experience maintaining equipment and carrying out basic emergency repairs.
• Strong focus on health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Ability to document HSE activities, complete job paperwork, and take part in post-job reviews.
• Capability to coordinate with customers, supervisors, and third parties in the field.
• Willingness to train others and develop broader service capability over time.
