About the Role
As a Civil Engineering Trainee specializing in Steel Structure Works, you will become an integral member of a prominent provider in airport logistics solutions, contributing to projects involved in baggage handling, cargo systems, and facility infrastructure. This full-time position in Dubai is exclusively open to UAE National students currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, offering invaluable on-site exposure to structural work, site engineering, and the intricacies of project execution in high-tech airport settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to complete daily on-site technical tasks.
- Participate in the evaluation and review of steel structural drawings, layouts, and supporting documentation.
- Join site inspection teams and assist with installation monitoring and project progress updates specific to steel structures.
- Help track project changes, address snag lists, and support coordination across teams at the construction site.
- Communicate and coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders when needed for project success.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports, checklists, and essential project documentation.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining quality assurance and safety compliance with company standards on site.
- Uphold all company protocols related to safety, quality, and operation at all times.
Qualifications and Requirements
- You must be a UAE National and possess a Family Book.
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- A keen interest in steel structures, construction, and the broader engineering project sector.
- Some understanding of engineering drawings and on-site activities is preferred.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar engineering design software is considered an asset.
- Proficient communication and collaboration abilities.
- A demonstrated enthusiasm to learn and grow within a practical, applied engineering environment.
- Proficiency in English.
