About the Role
Crewit Resourcing is seeking a Civil Engineer to oversee and coordinate construction projects in Cork, Ireland. The successful candidate will ensure projects are managed safely, on schedule, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site engineering operations.
- Evaluate construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Implement construction alignment and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Manage coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams.
- Track project timeline progress and report updates to management.
- Perform site inspections and conduct quality assessments.
- Ensure all health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations are followed.
- Support procurement processes and material planning.
- Draft technical documentation including reports, method statements, and site records.
- Maintain communication with clients, consultants, architects, and local authorities.
- Troubleshoot engineering and construction challenges promptly.
- Contribute to cost management and project completion goals.
Candidate Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Over three years of experience in civil engineering or reinforced concrete construction projects.
- Sound knowledge of construction techniques, formwork, and concrete work.
- Ability to interpret and analyze engineering drawings effectively.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Possession of a full driving license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) construction.
- Familiarity with Irish Building Regulations and Health & Safety laws.
- Experience using surveying tools and performing setting-out tasks.
- Membership with Engineers Ireland.
