Overview

Bristol City Council is hiring one full-time, permanent Civil Enforcement Officer to help keep traffic flowing smoothly across Bristol. The role focuses on enforcing bus lane and bus stop restrictions through CCTV enforcement cameras, supporting safer operation of the transport network and reducing congestion.

This position is for 37 hours per week. Full training and ongoing support will be provided. The role is also suitable for home working.

What you will do

  • Monitor and enforce bus lane restrictions using CCTV enforcement systems.
  • Enforce bus stop restrictions in Bristol.
  • Help maintain safe traffic movement and reduce congestion across the transport network.
  • Carry out the role in line with council procedures and enforcement expectations.
