Chief Product Technology Officer

Overview

We are inviting applications for a visionary Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO) to become a key member of the executive leadership team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This full-time leadership role combines product innovation, technology strategy, and business growth, encompassing management of product development, engineering, architecture, data, technology operations, and digital transformation to deliver scalable, impactful solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Craft and implement a unified product and technology strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead diverse teams across product management, software engineering, architecture, data, infrastructure, and technology operations.
• Set a compelling product vision and roadmap, guiding prioritization and technology investments.
• Drive initiatives focused on digital innovation, automation, and modernization of technology platforms.
• Work alongside executive peers to synchronize technology investments with commercial priorities.
• Manage the entire product lifecycle including strategic planning, development, launch, and ongoing refinement.
• Develop frameworks for technology governance, cybersecurity, data protection, risk, and business continuity.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators related to product, technology, customer satisfaction, and return on investment.
• Oversee budgets, vendor relations, partnerships, and allocation of technical resources.
• Nurture and coach leadership teams within product and technology to optimize performance.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies in AI, cloud computing, data platforms, and automation and assess their strategic opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 12 years of progressive experience in product, engineering, technology, or digital transformation, including significant leadership roles at the executive level.
• Strong expertise in product strategy, software engineering, cloud architectures, data systems, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Business, or a related discipline; Master’s degree such as MBA or Technology Management is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, AI/ML technologies, microservices, and enterprise platforms.
• Proficiency with product delivery and management tools including Jira, Confluence, and Productboard or equivalents.
• Professional or executive certifications in technology, cybersecurity, product management, or leadership are advantageous.
• Previous experience working within multinational corporations or the UAE market is a plus.
