Job description

Role overview

Green Drop is hiring a full-time, remote Chief Operational Excellence Officer to architect, lead, and steadily strengthen the company’s operating model across all business areas. This role is accountable for day-to-day operational health, including process improvement, workflow design, and tight coordination between product, trading, risk, finance, and technology functions.

What you will do

You will establish and monitor operating KPIs, identify inefficiencies and constraints, and roll out scalable, data-backed improvements that help the business expand within the cryptocurrency derivatives space. You will work directly with senior leadership on strategic planning, allocation of resources, and preparing the organization to launch new products, services, and market initiatives.

Typical work includes evaluating operational metrics, driving improvement programs, strengthening governance and control processes, coaching operational leaders, and making sure the business stays aligned with internal standards and applicable regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in operations management, including process refinement, workflow architecture, and full-cycle operational leadership.
  • Background in business planning, covering strategic planning, roadmap creation, and delivery across multiple teams.
  • Strong analytical ability, with the capacity to work through complex data, define KPIs, and convert findings into action.
  • Working knowledge of finance and budgeting, including financial modeling, cost oversight, and resource planning for operational programs.
  • Substantial leadership experience in operations, strategy, or transformation roles, preferably in financial services, fintech, or digital assets.
  • History of leading major change efforts, developing scalable processes, and applying continuous improvement methods such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile.
  • Clear communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across executive, technical, and business teams in a remote setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Engineering, or a closely related discipline; an MBA or similar advanced degree is an added advantage.
  • Exposure to cryptocurrency, derivatives, or capital markets is preferred, or a genuine willingness to quickly build expertise in these areas.
