About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Chief Operating Officer to spearhead the operational leadership of a prestigious conference and events venue based in London. This leadership position focuses on refining operational strategies, driving exceptional guest experience, and achieving sustainable commercial success for the venue.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire operational strategy and daily management of the venue.
- Ensure outstanding customer and client experiences across conferences, events, hospitality, and venue-related services.
- Design and implement efficient operational procedures that enhance quality and profitability.
- Lead, motivate, and nurture senior management and operational teams to high performance.
- Administer budgets, monitor financial outcomes, and manage key operational performance indicators.
- Maintain world-class standards for service, regulatory compliance, health and safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to drive revenue growth and new business initiatives.
- Seek out and implement innovative solutions for continuous operational improvement.
- Establish and maintain solid relationships with stakeholders, clients, partners, and suppliers.
- Contribute to strategic business planning supporting long-term growth.
Qualifications and Experience
- Extensive senior leadership experience in venues, hospitality, events, conferencing, or related industries.
- Proven success managing large-scale operations and directing high-performing teams.
- Strong commercial skills including budget oversight, forecasting, and enhancing business performance.
