Job description
About the Company
Watch Connection Global runs a group of four established e-commerce brands that sell premium watches and accessories to customers around the world. The business serves both North American and international markets and is expanding quickly.
The company is seeking a hands-on operator who can do more than coordinate tasks. The ideal person will create scalable systems, guide teams, hold people accountable, and help the organization grow into a top-tier e-commerce operation.
This opportunity is suited to someone who wants to work closely with the founder and act as a key partner in shaping the company’s future.
Role Purpose
You will take ownership of the company’s day-to-day operations so the founder can concentrate on growth, partnerships, acquisitions, and broader strategy. Your focus will be on building teams, improving systems, increasing profitability, and making sure every function performs strongly.
Key Responsibilities
You will oversee operations across all four brands and work directly with department leaders and team members to strengthen execution. The role includes building and refining standard operating procedures, setting performance metrics and dashboards, managing inventory planning and purchasing, and directing fulfillment and logistics.
You will also help improve customer support, coordinate with marketing to keep operations aligned, manage vendor and supplier relationships, lower refunds, chargebacks, and other operational losses, and push for greater efficiency and profitability. Where useful, you will introduce automation and AI tools. Weekly business updates will be shared directly with the founder.
Departments Under Your Oversight
The position includes responsibility for operations, customer support, inventory and purchasing, fulfillment, finance coordination, HR and recruitment, vendor management, process improvement, and data and reporting.
What We Are Looking For
The company is looking for someone with at least 7 years of operations leadership experience in e-commerce and a track record of managing businesses with annual revenue of USD 5 million or more. Strong Shopify knowledge is essential, along with practical experience in inventory systems, payment processors, logistics, and leading remote teams.
The right candidate should bring excellent leadership and organizational ability, a strong analytical approach, clear communication skills, and a high sense of ownership. The expectation is that you solve problems proactively instead of waiting for direction.
Nice-to-Have Experience
Additional value will be given to candidates with experience in luxury goods or watches, scaling companies from seven to eight figures, implementing ERP systems, building AI-powered workflows, working with international fulfillment, reducing chargebacks, and handling financial planning and budgeting.
Compensation and Growth
This is being offered as a long-term partnership opportunity. The package includes a competitive fixed salary, performance-based bonuses, and profit sharing of up to 10% of monthly net operating profit, subject to agreed KPIs and consistent business performance.
There is also meaningful growth potential, including the possibility of becoming the company’s long-term COO and strategic leader.
Ideal Fit
The company is seeking an ambitious, analytical professional who enjoys improving businesses, building durable systems, leading teams, and taking full ownership of outcomes.
Application Requirements
Applicants should be prepared to share a resume, LinkedIn profile, the largest e-commerce business they have managed by annual revenue, the size of teams they have led, the platforms they have used such as Shopify or Amazon, three operational improvements they are most proud of, current compensation, expected compensation, and their earliest possible start date.
