Job description
About the role
Kā Vetements is a premium slow-fashion label rooted in Monterrey, Mexico, with customers in Mexico and the United States, and a planned launch in Europe in 2026. The brand is at an important growth stage: it already has a clear creative direction, a solid client base, and momentum. The priority now is to turn that vision into a practical operating framework.
The company is seeking a Fractional COO / Fashion Business Strategist for an initial 90-day engagement, with a strong possibility of extending into an ongoing fractional partnership.
What you will help establish
- A business model for the brand, including pricing logic and margin design
- A 12-month calendar for collections and drops
- A production workflow and costing system
- A sales and distribution strategy across Mexico, the USA, and future European markets
- A wholesale plan covering boutiques, showrooms, and private clients
- Cash-flow forecasting and a financial roadmap
- Team design and a 12-month execution plan
Profile the company is looking for
The ideal candidate brings experience working with premium, independent, slow-fashion, or luxury-adjacent labels. You should understand production planning, costing, margin management, wholesale, and operational structuring in depth.
This role requires someone who can partner closely with a founder, safeguard the brand’s identity and positioning, and convert creative ambition into clear systems and structure. The best fit will be strategic yet hands-on, commercially sharp, and highly organized.
Strong Spanish and English skills are preferred. The company is also open to a fractional, project-based working arrangement.
Application note
Interested applicants are asked to send a short note along with their CV, and include details of one brand they have worked with, the situation when they joined, and the impact of their work. Applications without context are not desired.
