Role Overview

As Relectrify expands its commercial reach in stationary storage, EV charging, and data center power, it is seeking a Chief of Staff to partner directly with the CEO during a pivotal growth period ahead of its Series B funding round.

This senior leadership role involves acting as a strategic partner and principal executor across business development, investment and corporate development, and operational priorities, especially those crossing multiple teams. The position carries delegated authority from the CEO and requires exceptional judgment, structured analytical thinking, and management of complex initiatives from concept through implementation. It is distinct from administrative support roles and offers a clear pathway to advanced leadership roles as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert CEO and board strategies into prioritized, monitored company initiatives, managing leadership meeting cadences and OKRs.
• Represent the CEO with stakeholders such as investors and partners, exercising sound judgment regarding independent action versus escalation.
• Prepare concise, board- and investor-ready materials simplifying complex analyses into actionable insights.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO to tackle ambiguous challenges, develop analytical frameworks, and drive resolutions.
• Support origination and structuring of strategic partnerships and commercial contracts with OEMs, integrators, and platform partners.
• Conduct market assessments and build business and commercial models to evaluate and prioritize growth opportunities.
• Assist comprehensively with Series B fundraising activities, including targeting investors, crafting narratives, managing data rooms, and coordinating diligence.
• Maintain strategic and valuation models and aid in exit preparation and corporate development analysis.
• Drive progress on cross-functional projects, eliminate roadblocks, and hold teams accountable to delivery timelines.
• Enhance internal operations, reporting frameworks, and decision-making processes as the company grows.
• Lead special projects as new strategic priorities emerge.

Success Metrics (6-12 Months)

• Established leadership operational rhythm with measurable advancement of top priorities.
• Efficient management of Series B fundraising and progress in investor engagement.
• Resolution and completion of previously delayed cross-functional initiatives.
• CEO's agenda focused distinctly on highest-value activities.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should possess full working rights in Australia and be ready for pre-employment background validation, including criminal and reference checks.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• MBA from a leading business school with at least four years' relevant experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or corporate strategy/development.
• Strong structured problem-solving skills, financial modeling ability, and excellent written and verbal communication fit for board and investor audiences.
• Proven high ownership and drive to complete complex, cross-functional initiatives in dynamic, ambiguous settings.
• Ability to influence and earn trust across diverse leadership teams without formal authority.
• Demonstrated maturity and confidentiality in managing strategic, financial, and board-related information.

Desirable Attributes:

• Interest in deep technology, energy decarbonization, and commercializing hardware innovations.
• Knowledge of battery energy storage systems, power electronics, or related energy infrastructure sectors.
