Chief of Staff / Strategy & Operations

Role overview

A newly launched supply chain technology platform is expanding internationally and is looking for a strong operator to sit close to the leadership team as Chief of Staff. This position supports the CEO and COO and plays a central role in helping the business scale.

Reporting to the COO, you will help shape and deliver the company’s strategy, strengthen the internal systems needed for growth, and keep key business rhythms running across strategy, operations, governance, and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Drive important strategic initiatives and lead cross-functional programmes from planning through execution.
• Work with the COO to improve and maintain the risk and controls framework.
• Manage vendor partnerships and oversee procurement processes.
• Identify and implement AI and agentic workflows that reduce operational inefficiencies.

What the role requires

• At least 5 years of experience in top-tier consulting, investment banking, or a Chief of Staff / Strategy & Operations position within a fast-growing company.
• Proven ability to run complex programmes involving multiple stakeholders and demanding deadlines.
• Understanding of trade and international supply chain environments.
• Practical experience with AI tools and a strong interest in using them to improve operations.

Additional information

The role offers a high level of ownership, a wide-ranging remit, and direct exposure to the company’s growth journey. Compensation is described as highly competitive, with salary and bonus included, but no equity participation.

This position is based in central London. Candidates must already be located in London and have the right to work in the UK.
