About Flam
Flam is at the forefront of building AI infrastructure tailored for brands focusing on immersive advertising. Their technology enables high-quality, app-free Generative AI experiences spanning Digital platforms, Broadcast TV, Retail environments, Communications, Print media, Out-of-Home advertising, and beyond. The company's vision is to create an immersive, interactive layer available on every screen and surface. Flam is revolutionizing content engagement by making moments interactive, instantly shoppable, and measurable. Backed by $22 million in funding from investors including RTP Capital and Dovetail, Flam has earned the trust of global enterprises such as Google, Samsung, and Emirates. The organization is rapidly expanding its Go-To-Market initiatives across North America, EMEA, and Asia, accompanied by the opening of a new headquarters in San Francisco.
Role Overview
Flam is seeking a Chief of Staff to the CEO who will act as the operational lead, orchestrating daily execution and ensuring seamless coordination within the leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role demands transforming strategic plans into actionable outcomes, facilitating effective meetings, and maintaining alignment across teams. Given Flam's early-stage and fast-paced nature, the candidate must excel in uncertain environments, adapt quickly amid evolving information, and provide steadiness during rapid change.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the founder on sales processes including deal preparation, follow-ups, proposal management, and sustaining momentum on active opportunities.
- Maintain pipeline quality and CRM discipline to ensure comprehensive visibility into deal status for the founder.
- Lead partnership efforts by sourcing, qualifying, and aiding negotiation of partnership deals within the US market.
- Prepare the founder for sales and partnership meetings through detailed account analysis, competitive insights, and customized talking points.
- Analyze win/loss data and market feedback loops to inform product development and messaging strategies.
- Identify target verticals for Flam Instant (AR-powered physical-to-digital experiences) such as retail, packaging, print, and events to drive pilot conversions and build outbound agency collaborations.
- Support Flam Native Ads by engaging brands, agencies, and media partners to initiate pilot campaigns, and assist packaging, pricing, and case study development demonstrating performance benefits over traditional ads.
- Discover early use cases for Visual Agents (sales enablement, support demos), craft proof-of-concept pitches illustrating quick ROI, and aid integration talks with enterprise prospects.
- Create and refine streamlined go-to-market playbooks for each product based on emerging deal insights, covering qualification, pricing dialogues, and objection management.
- Monitor product line conversion rates in the US market and assist the founder in prioritizing time and resources accordingly.
- Manage trackers and follow-up mechanisms to guarantee that commitments to customers, partners, and internal teams are fulfilled.
- Coordinate logistics and documentation for investor and board reporting related to commercial progress.
- Serve as the operational problem solver removing blockers that hinder deal closures or partnership launches.
Candidate Profile
- Thrives in ambiguous, early-stage startup settings where information is often incomplete and processes continue to evolve.
- Strong commercial acumen with a genuine enthusiasm for sales and partnership development beyond just administrative roles.
- Quickly comprehends and differentiates the company's three product areas—AR/physical experiences, ad-tech, and AI agents—and crafts tailored growth strategies for each.
- Demonstrates high ownership by managing deals closely without formal sales titles but owning accountability for results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of representing the CEO in discussions with prospects and partners.
