Role Summary
The Chief of Staff to the Chairman at United Nigeria Airlines plays a vital role as both a strategic consultant and operational leader. This position focuses on driving the implementation of critical organizational initiatives, fostering seamless communication across various departments, and enhancing the overall efficiency of the Chairman’s work.
Primary Duties
- Serve as the main advisor and key point of liaison for the Chairman on strategic and operational issues.
- Oversee coordination, monitoring, and execution of executive-level projects and decisions spanning all departments.
- Develop high-level briefs, comprehensive reports, and presentations for the Chairman and Board members.
- Lead and manage cross-functional initiatives to promote organizational cohesion.
- Organize and prioritize the Chairman’s schedule, engagements, and commitments.
- Ensure prompt dissemination and alignment of executive decisions throughout the company.
- Manage confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a relevant undergraduate degree; an MBA is preferred.
- Hold 8 to 10 years of experience in senior management, strategic roles, or as Chief of Staff.
- Background in aviation or experience within a large, multi-disciplinary organization is advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience supporting executives at Board or C-suite level.
- Exhibit robust leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively under pressure.
- Maintain high standards of integrity and professionalism at all times.
Additional Information
