About the Role

Our client, an emerging venture capital firm, is seeking a Chief of Staff to collaborate closely with senior leadership and act as a pivotal contributor in shaping strategy, operational efficiency, and execution. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize internal workflows throughout the investment process lifecycle.
  • Coordinate and facilitate weekly investment meetings and overall firm operations.
  • Create and maintain systems and tools such as CRM platforms, Notion, and internal trackers to streamline execution.
  • Provide support for overarching firm strategy and planning activities.
  • Manage partnerships with external vendors including PR agencies, event organizers, and fractional marketing teams.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the firm’s brand identity and communication approaches.
  • Organize events such as founder dinners and initiatives to engage the broader ecosystem.
  • Establish and nurture relationships within targeted networks of founders, investors, and operators.
  • Support secondary market transaction processes by coordinating with bankers, brokers, and legal partners.
  • Contribute to investor communications and capital markets related projects, gaining insight into fundraising and limited partner engagement strategies.
  • Lead or assist in firm-building tasks including office setup, vendor selection, and budgeting.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes for new hires.
  • Develop and manage a network of external advisors.
  • Handle special projects as assigned to meet evolving firm needs.

Qualifications

  • Between 3 and 6 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Experience in roles such as management consulting, strategy or operations, or prior chief of staff positions.
  • Exceptional organizational capabilities with a systematic and structured approach to complex challenges.
  • Strong emotional intelligence combined with analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication proficiency.
  • Proactive attitude with readiness to undertake diverse tasks regardless of scale.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and engage effectively with demanding stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in environments that require adaptability amid shifting priorities.
  • Interest or background in artificial intelligence, frontier technologies, or the venture capital industry.
