Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Chief of Staff to assist a senior executive who oversees a large cross-disciplinary organization including data, marketing technology, platform engineering, and digital experience functions. This strategic and operational leadership position focuses on enhancing organizational performance, ensuring executive preparedness, and driving alignment across teams to accelerate business execution.
Key Duties
- Oversee and coordinate the executive operating cadence, such as strategic planning, business evaluations, leadership meetings, and organizational development processes.
- Create executive briefing materials, leadership summaries, strategic decision documents, and concise one-page overviews for key management meetings.
- Develop presentations, communications, and strategic narratives designed for senior leadership that clearly express business goals and align with company objectives.
- Manage resolution of complex initiatives spanning multiple departments and stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with directors, senior managers, and functional leaders to gather insights, evaluate risks, and keep leadership well-informed of organizational status.
- Enhance alignment by facilitating communication between business, technology, product, and operations teams.
- Proactively identify executive needs and emerging challenges, recommending solutions ahead of potential issues.
- Support strategic planning, drive organizational priorities, promote operational excellence initiatives, and assist in executive decision processes.
- Establish trusted relationships throughout senior leadership while skillfully handling complicated organizational dynamics with professionalism.
- Leverage AI tools and up-to-date productivity technologies to improve planning, communication, and operational effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in management consulting, business strategy, organizational change, or enterprise operations.
- Prior experience as Chief of Staff or in equivalent roles related to executive business operations, strategic program management, or executive office functions.
- Proven track record supporting senior leaders within sizable, complex organizations.
- Exceptional skills in executive communications, including the ability to produce compelling presentations and strategic documentation.
- Demonstrated competence handling ambiguous, cross-functional projects involving various stakeholders.
- Experience managing executive operating rhythms, strategic planning, and governance structures.
- Strong business understanding with the ability to interpret technology concepts into actionable business insights.
- Skillful in influencing senior leadership without formal authority.
- Advanced proficiency with AI tools to boost productivity, communication, research, and task execution.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, facilitation, and problem-solving capabilities.
Additional Information
This position is a W2 contract opportunity based onsite in Mountain View, CA, lasting between 6 and 12 months. The hourly pay range is $90 to $100.
