Role Overview
We are looking for a commercially savvy and analytically proficient leader to collaborate closely with the CEO in advancing the company's growth objectives. This pivotal position integrates strategic finance, investor relations, business performance oversight, and cross-departmental project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate corporate fundraising efforts including debt and equity transactions.
- Coordinate investor engagement and assist in crafting investment presentations and supporting documents.
- Manage due diligence processes and maintain essential financing documentation.
- Develop financial models and business cases underpinning strategic decision-making.
- Support leadership in assessing investment, acquisition, divestment, and financing opportunities.
- Maintain and improve business planning and forecasting frameworks.
- Generate scenario analyses and strategic plans to aid executive decisions.
- Track business key performance indicators, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with finance and project teams to ensure consistent and accurate reporting.
- Coordinate communication and reporting with shareholders, lenders, advisors, and strategic partners.
- Manage periodic stakeholder reporting, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Respond promptly to internal information requests and gather necessary data from teams.
- Facilitate teamwork among functions to ensure efficient progress of strategic initiatives.
- Monitor project milestones and escalate issues as needed.
- Drive accountability and follow-up on strategic initiatives through effective reporting.
- Organize board, shareholder, committee, and management reporting processes.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and briefing materials, tracking decisions and action items.
- Contribute to enhancing governance and reporting systems.
- Support the execution and monitoring of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives.
- Coordinate ESG reporting and stakeholder disclosures, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Lead high-impact projects aimed at enhancing organizational performance and scalability.
- Identify processes improvements and support change management efforts.
- Oversee strategic projects from inception through implementation and review.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years professional experience in relevant roles.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling and analytical techniques.
- Experience in fundraising, financing transactions, or investment activities.
- Background in investor relations, stakeholder communication, or lender engagement.
- Proven ability in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
- Experience in infrastructure, energy, utilities, or investment sectors is advantageous.
- Knowledge of ESG and sustainability reporting frameworks is beneficial.
