Wild is a mission-driven company aiming to eliminate single-use plastics in bathrooms with its range of refillable, natural, and fragranced deodorants, body wash, and lip balm. Since launching in 2020, Wild has rapidly grown to become one of Europe's fastest expanding startups.
Role Overview
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will be a strategic leader and cultural cornerstone, guiding Wild's next phase of international hyper-growth. This leadership role entails overseeing the global direct-to-consumer (D2C) marketing engine, harmonising digital and retail channels, and creating a compelling brand identity across the UK, US, EU, and Australia markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic growth initiatives and global expansion efforts to increase Wild’s market presence internationally.
- Develop and align a seamless omnichannel D2C and retail strategy to enhance brand visibility and commercial outcomes across all customer touchpoints.
- Set comprehensive marketing objectives, commercial targets, and manage full profit and loss responsibilities.
- Direct and inspire multidisciplinary teams across six main marketing pillars including Performance Marketing, Influencer Marketing, Brand Management, E-commerce, CRM, and Creative Direction.
- Manage the allocation of substantial advertising budgets using a full-funnel approach that ranges from large-scale TV campaigns to targeted digital acquisition efforts.
- Work collaboratively with the E-commerce team on conversion rate optimization and user experience enhancements to ensure a smooth customer journey.
- Design and drive the brand’s product launch pipeline and strategic partnerships that enhance brand equity globally.
- Create and nurture a supportive corporate culture that balances employee well-being with ambitious growth goals.
Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing large-scale budgets (8-figure) and successfully scaling international D2C brands primarily in the US, UK, and EU markets.
- Proficient in full-funnel marketing techniques, comfortable with both large TV production sign-offs and in-depth analysis of digital campaign performances.
- A natural mentor with proven ability to manage diverse teams including performance marketers, creative directors, and influencer specialists.
- High emotional intelligence, demonstrating empathetic leadership to foster motivation, support, and team cohesion.
Benefits and Perks
- 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays and 9 additional remote working days annually.
- Hybrid work model requiring three days a week at the modern London office.
- Enhanced maternity, paternity, and adoption leave policies.
- Company pension contribution of 4%.
- Access to mental well-being support services.
- Private healthcare coverage.
- Weekly early finishes and organized social events.
- Allocated annual budget for learning and development.
- Provided free breakfast and complimentary or discounted Wild products.
- Four volunteering days per year, split between team and individual opportunities.

Wild is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where every employee feels respected and encouraged to bring their authentic self to work. They actively seek applicants from diverse backgrounds and are ready to offer any necessary adjustments during the recruitment process to support candidates' performance.
