Role overview
The Chief Growth Officer is a senior executive role responsible for shaping and accelerating the company’s long-term growth. Reporting to the President & CEO, this person will help guide the overall direction of the business while leading initiatives across business development, marketing, client retention, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. The role is centered on building meaningful client relationships that align with the company’s food philosophy and on driving growth that also creates strong financial results.
Key responsibilities
- Work with the Board and executive leadership to define the company’s long-range growth plan, including new markets, adjacencies, verticals, acquisitions, and service offerings.
- Track market trends and assess growth opportunities with competitive insights, strategic recommendations, and action plans.
- Lead and strengthen the business development function, staying actively involved throughout the sales process.
- Create and manage a partnership strategy by developing high-value relationships that support growth objectives.
- Oversee the marketing team and function to build brand visibility and attract new clients.
- Partner with finance and operations to shape pricing and business models that support expansion goals.
- Build and guide a client retention approach that identifies risks, finds service expansion opportunities, and supports renewals and contract extensions.
- Present regular growth updates and strategic progress at Board meetings.
