About the Role
We are partnering exclusively with a dynamic, private equity-backed international company undergoing significant growth and expansion, headquartered in London, UK. With a strong commitment to its values and a well-established global presence, the company is set for further development supported by a private equity investor known for fostering sustainable growth and value creation in partnership with management teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate strategically with the CEO and Board to support long-term value creation and business strategy.
- Lead and oversee the finance department, delivering commercial insights and financial leadership across the international operations.
- Develop and implement scalable financial systems, controls, and workflows to underpin sustained growth.
- Provide accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and management information to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Enforce strong financial discipline, governance, and operational performance throughout the organization.
- Manage the financial integration of acquisitions to ensure smooth alignment with group operations.
- Oversee statutory reporting, audits, taxation, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, focusing on skill development and succession planning.
- Work closely with private equity investors and the Board, delivering transparent financial insights and reports.
- Support strategic investments, international expansion efforts, and other business initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Extensive CFO or senior finance leadership experience within a private equity-backed organization.
- Background in an international, technology-enabled enterprise, preferably mid-market scale.
- Proven track record driving growth and managing organizational change during rapid scaling phases.
- Expertise in leading mergers and acquisitions integration and assimilating acquired businesses.
- Strong commercial acumen, balancing strategic vision with operational effectiveness.
- Thrives in fast-paced, evolving settings with engagement across multiple stakeholders.
- Outstanding leadership capabilities, communication skills, and credibility to influence executive leadership.
- Availability to start the role promptly is advantageous.
