Job description

About the Organisation

ArchiPro is a privately held digital company backed by venture funding and now moving into a major expansion stage. The business is growing internationally, with a clear focus on increasing revenue, reinforcing its core systems, and preparing for future funding or other capital milestones.

About the Opportunity

This CFO position works closely with an ambitious CEO and the wider leadership group to help set direction and sharpen financial insight in a dynamic, fast-moving setting. You will guide the shift from founder-led growth to a more disciplined and scalable global operating model, while preserving business momentum. As the head of finance, you will be a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team on growth, performance, and overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Steer financial strategy and contribute to wider business planning and direction.
  • Design and support the financial framework needed for expansion into international markets.
  • Improve governance, internal controls, and readiness for future capital events.
  • Increase the quality and accessibility of financial reporting to support better decisions.
  • Shape operations beyond finance by bringing structure, alignment, and accountability.
  • Lead a finance team that is efficient, adaptable, and capable of scaling with the business.

This position is broader than a traditional finance leadership role, with involvement in how the business operates on a day-to-day basis.

What You’ll Bring

You should be a seasoned CFO with wider business exposure, not only strong financial leadership, but also experience across areas such as operations, HR, legal, or broader executive management.

  • Background in fast-growing technology businesses, ideally SaaS or marketplace models.
  • Proven ability to add structure and discipline without slowing growth.
  • Strong commercial judgement and a strategic mindset.
  • Composure and authority in environments marked by rapid change and expansion.
  • Comfort working closely with founders and entrepreneurial leadership teams.

You are commercially astute, practical, and able to work effectively in uncertainty while bringing clarity to those around you.

Eligibility

Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or residents, or already hold the legal right to work in New Zealand with a valid visa.

Application Notes

Applications should be submitted through the job advertisement. The hiring team will review them as they are received and follow up directly. For a confidential discussion, Brad Gatehouse can be contacted on +64 276 11 3638, quoting Job ID 17639.
