Position Overview
Our global client seeks a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Digital Transformation Finance Leader based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will lead the organization’s financial vision and strategy, ensuring fiscal health and stability while spearheading the transition from traditional services to an AI-centric digital infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee financial architecture and governance frameworks.
- Lead AI-first financial operations to modernize processes.
- Ensure rigorous financial reporting and closing discipline.
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of revenue data.
- Manage banking relationships, compliance with covenants, and cash flow optimization.
- Drive profit maximization strategies.
- Oversee contract management and contingency planning.
- Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory financial compliance.
Additional Scope
Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will also supervise IT, Human Resources, and other digital transformation initiatives, making this a pivotal leadership role requiring a forward-thinking and AI-competent finance executive familiar with the Saudi Arabian market.
Qualifications and Skills
- 10 to 15 years of progressive finance experience, with 5 to 8 years in high-level leadership positions.
- Background in IT consulting or technology-related managed services is essential.
- Strong mastery of financial controls and revenue recognition principles.
- Proven success in implementing AI-driven financial tools and operations.
- Hands-on expertise with SAP Finance modules.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
- Experience with digital, cloud, or connectivity sector finance functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA or Master’s in Finance preferred.
- Highly regarded professional certifications including CPA, CFA, or CMA.
