Position Summary

Search Solution Group is looking to hire a remote Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who will play a pivotal role in directing the company’s financial strategy, planning, reporting, and operational effectiveness. The CFO will act as a vital strategic partner to the executive team, steering growth initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency, and maintaining robust financial management. Candidates with extensive experience in private equity-backed firms and proven success in guiding finance teams through growth and transformation phases are highly desired. This remote role will involve regular travel as required.

Core Responsibilities

Formulate and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
Supervise all finance-related departments including FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, taxation, auditing, and reporting.
Collaborate closely with executive leadership and private equity stakeholders to enhance financial performance and support strategic goals.
Deliver financial reports, forecasts, and business metrics to executive teams and investors.
Manage cash flow, capital structuring, and liquidity to ensure fiscal health.
Identify and execute operational improvements to maximize profitability and performance.
Oversee annual budget development, forecasting cycles, and long-term financial planning.
Ensure adherence to accounting standards, financial regulations, and statutory requirements.
Establish and maintain strong internal controls, financial policies, and risk mitigation processes.
Support corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and integrations as required.
Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team.
Coordinate with other departmental leaders to back business decisions and strategic planning.
Promote continuous enhancements in finance systems, reporting procedures, and workflows.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline is mandatory.
Advanced degrees like an MBA or professional credentials such as CPA are preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in finance, with demonstrated success in executive finance roles.
Prior service as a CFO or senior finance leader is required.
Experience operating within private equity-backed enterprises and managing financial strategies in high-growth or transformation contexts.
Proficiency in budgeting, financial reporting, capital management, treasury functions, and stakeholder communications.
Track record of leading and developing finance teams.
