Position Summary

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will report directly to the Founder and CEO and play a pivotal role in driving finance, investor relations, and commercial strategies during a period of significant global growth. The CFO will act as a strategic business partner, translating complex financial data into actionable insights while cultivating a top-tier finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial plans across the organization.
  • Manage investor relations and capital market communications, including disclosures to the ASX and organizing the annual investor roadshow.
  • Provide commercial support to guide decision-making as the business expands, including financial modelling for new markets and partnerships.
  • Collaborate closely with the incoming Chief Commercial Officer and General Manager of Commercial Operations to establish new commercial leadership.
  • Lead due diligence and integration efforts related to mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
  • Ensure robust corporate governance in partnership with the Audit & Risk and Remuneration committees.
  • Develop a high-functioning, well-organized finance team with enhanced leadership presence.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Current or prior CFO or experienced Deputy/Divisional CFO role in a complex, larger organization; not suitable for first-time CFOs.
  • Demonstrated leadership of finance within a high-growth, global enterprise.
  • Experience with publicly listed companies, preferably with ASX knowledge.
  • Familiarity with the US market and cultural nuances of US clients is highly desirable.
  • Strong expertise in capital markets, investor relations, and board reporting.
  • Background in MedTech, life sciences, or healthcare is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A commercial, data-driven mindset combined with strong leadership capabilities.
