Role Overview

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and exercising full profit and loss accountability. The CEO will champion business growth, operational improvements, digital transformation, and overall organizational effectiveness. Reporting to the Board of Directors, this role will steer the company through its next growth phase, enhancing collaborations with insurers, regulatory authorities, corporate clients, and key stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop and implement long-range business strategies to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
Identify and pursue new markets, alliances, and expansion prospects.
Maintain ongoing communication and performance reporting to the Board.
Drive growth across Corporate, SME, and Retail insurance portfolios.
Forge and fortify strategic partnerships with insurers and reinsurers.
Broaden the company’s footprint in the UAE and GCC regions.
Exercise full ownership of budgeting, financial planning, and revenue management.
Optimize costs and enhance operational efficiencies.
Oversee multiple insurance product lines including Motor, Medical, Property, Engineering, Marine, Liability, Cyber Insurance, Employee Benefits, Financial Lines, and Risk Advisory.
Ensure adherence to UAE insurance laws and regulatory compliance.
Strengthen governance practices and manage risks effectively.
Lead digital initiatives to automate processes, improve customer experience, enhance analytics, and implement AI-driven operational excellence.
Inspire and mentor senior leaders, fostering a culture of high performance, innovation, and accountability.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of 18 years’ experience in the insurance sector.
At least 8 to 10 years in senior leadership roles such as CEO, Managing Director, Country Head, General Manager, or Executive Director within insurance brokerage or insurance companies.
Deep knowledge of the UAE insurance market with proven P&L leadership experience.
Track record of successfully scaling profitable businesses with robust insurer and corporate client relationships.
Experience collaborating with Boards of Directors and shareholders.
Bachelor’s degree is mandatory; MBA and professional insurance qualifications like ACII, FCII, or CII are preferred.
