An established growth platform in the United States is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to guide its next stage of expansion and operational maturity. This leader will carry full profit-and-loss responsibility and steer enterprise strategy, day-to-day execution, commercial expansion, and organizational leadership. The position calls for a practical, hands-on chief executive who can put a disciplined operating structure in place, unlock new revenue streams, manage integration work, and work closely with the Board to build durable enterprise value.

About the Hiring Firm

The firm combines experienced advisors with technology, data, and AI to make the search process faster, smarter, and more aligned with modern business needs. With more than 2,000 searches completed, the team delivers a high-touch approach designed to connect companies with leadership talent that can create long-term value.

Core Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the company’s financial performance, including revenue, profitability, cash generation, and delivery against the strategic plan.
  • Bring greater operational discipline across commercial, product, operations, finance, and other functional teams.
  • Establish a strong management rhythm, clear reporting standards, and accountability systems that keep execution consistent.
  • Create a culture focused on continuous improvement, speed, and measurable results.
  • Drive growth by improving go-to-market execution, pricing discipline, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Develop and scale additional revenue paths across consumer, enterprise, and partner-led opportunities.
  • Strengthen the company’s commercial infrastructure and value proposition to support repeatable growth.
  • Use customer and performance data to improve funnel conversion, channel performance, and revenue quality.
  • Lead acquisition strategy with the Board, including market mapping, target assessment, and transaction execution.
  • Oversee post-acquisition integration into a unified operating model with aligned systems, processes, and customer experience.
  • Identify value creation opportunities through consolidation, cross-sell, product expansion, and efficiency gains.
  • Build an integration framework that supports speed, accountability, and sustained performance.
  • Evaluate, strengthen, and develop a high-performing executive team.
  • Define roles, decision-making authority, and shared accountability across the organization.
  • Close critical capability gaps while developing and retaining top talent.
  • Promote a culture grounded in adaptability, accountability, inclusion, curiosity, and action.
  • Serve as the Board’s primary operating partner by providing clear reporting, strategic insight, and confident leadership.
  • Convert business performance into concise priorities, insights, and decisions.
  • Represent the business externally with customers, partners, stakeholders, and potential acquisition targets.
  • Build market credibility and strengthen the company’s position as a trusted partner.
  • Act as the senior ambassador for the organization’s mission, culture, and standards.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Prior CEO experience with full P&L ownership in a business of similar scale.
  • A documented record of growth, team building, operational execution, and enterprise value creation.
  • Strong command of B2C, D2C, subscription, repeat-purchase, or recurring revenue models.
  • Deep understanding of customer acquisition, retention, funnel improvement, pricing, and recurring revenue economics.
  • Commercial instincts in B2B settings, including experience building or scaling enterprise, partner-facing, or recurring revenue lines.
  • Hands-on experience scaling businesses through M&A, from identifying targets through deal completion and post-close integration.
  • Ability to build infrastructure, improve processes, and enforce execution discipline without sacrificing speed.
  • Experience hiring, developing, and retaining strong executive leadership teams.
  • Background in private capital-backed or similarly performance-oriented environments with board-level partnership responsibilities.
  • A decisive, resilient, self-directed leader who can introduce structure, deliver results, and operate effectively through complexity.
