Position overview
The Chief Executive Officer is the top executive in charge of guiding the organization’s overall direction, performance, and long-term value creation. This role owns strategy, execution, business operations, organizational development, growth, and capital efficiency, with a constant focus on sustainable expansion and stronger shareholder returns through disciplined resource use and high-performing teams.
Core responsibilities
The CEO will set the company’s long-range strategic direction, turn that strategy into annual goals, and ensure priorities are understood and delivered across the business. The role also oversees day-to-day enterprise performance, major functional areas, financial stewardship, governance, risk, digital transformation, and external stakeholder relationships.
Strategic planning and corporate development
- Build and implement long-term strategic plans and annual business objectives.
- Review market trends, competitive forces, and industry shifts to guide the company’s future path.
- Align the organization around strategy and ensure effective execution.
- Create a structured approach to strategic management that supports corporate targets.
- Spot new growth opportunities and encourage innovation that supports durable expansion.
Business operations and performance management
- Take full ownership of company operations and overall business results.
- Set annual operating targets and budget plans.

Qualifications and experience
A bachelor’s degree or higher is required. Preferred fields include Business Administration, Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering Management, or related areas. An MBA or EMBA is preferred. The role calls for at least 15 years of business leadership and management experience, including a minimum of 10 years in senior executive leadership. Prior experience as a General Manager, COO, Vice President, or in a similar executive capacity is expected.
Key strengths required
The ideal candidate will bring strategic leadership, market insight, enterprise management capability, financial and capital acumen, organizational leadership, strong execution, decision-making skill, crisis handling ability, and influence with external stakeholders.
Preferred background
Experience in large enterprises, multinational companies, or publicly listed organizations is preferred, along with exposure to large-scale growth and transformation, financing, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, digital transformation, international business management, and presentations to boards, investors, or shareholders.
Reporting structure
This position reports to the Board of Directors and leads the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Technology Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, and Business Unit General Managers.
Key performance indicators
Performance will be measured through revenue growth, net profit achievement, strategic goal completion, market share expansion, cash flow health, customer satisfaction, organizational effectiveness, core talent retention, enterprise valuation growth, and shareholder return.
