Role summary
This is a full-time, on-site leadership position in Westminster, Colorado. The Chief Executive Officer will set the strategic course for the hospital, with responsibility for patient care quality, fiscal health, and compliance with applicable regulations. The position involves guiding operations, partnering with medical and administrative leaders, overseeing budgets, and leading initiatives that enhance clinical results and the patient journey.
Key duties
The CEO will direct strategic planning, support business growth, and strengthen community relationships. The role also includes shaping a culture built on integrity, teamwork, and ongoing improvement, as well as developing executive talent, establishing performance objectives, and keeping hospital services aligned with long-range organizational goals.
Compensation
Base salary: $200,000 to $220,000.
Requirements and qualifications
Applicants should hold a BA degree and bring at least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership or CEO position within behavioral health, acute care, or managed care. An alternative path is successful completion of a CEO training program. The role calls for the ability to lead licensure, accreditation, and compliance efforts in a behavioral health facility, along with strong knowledge of facility administration and clinical operations. Solid understanding of financial management and business development is also essential.
Preferred experience and exposure
Experience in behavioral health hospital leadership is important, including survey readiness for JACHO, recruitment and retention, marketing and community engagement, quality improvement in a behavioral health hospital, hospital startup or expansion work, and joint venture experience.
