Job description

About the Role

Blackbull Chamber of Investment is hiring a CEO – Fundraising to lead the full capital-raising function for Blackbull and selected client ventures. The role carries ownership of fundraising strategy, investor sourcing, deal structuring, pipeline governance, and closure execution, with a strong emphasis on compliance, documentation quality, and investor trust.

This is a senior leadership position with significant authority, high business impact, performance-linked incentives, and the chance to shape a focused fundraising engine within Blackbull Chamber.

What You Will Do

  • Design and implement fundraising plans across equity, convertible instruments, debt, strategic alliances, and structured financing options.
  • Build a strong investor network that includes HNIs, family offices, venture capital firms, private equity investors, strategic backers, and international contacts.
  • Manage the complete deal journey from outreach and NDA stage through pitch, diligence, term sheet, documentation, and final closure.
  • Maintain investor relationships through regular updates, reporting discipline, governance communication, and long-term trust building.
  • Work closely with legal, finance, and compliance teams to ensure transaction structures are sound, risks are controlled, and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Prepare investor-facing material such as pitch decks, information memorandums, cap table models, valuation stories, and risk disclosures.
  • Establish fundraising controls including CRM hygiene, pipeline stage management, MIS dashboards, weekly review cadence, and closure tracking.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, coordinate with advisors, and oversee fundraising team members, partners, and brokers.
  • Maintain high ethical standards in fundraising through accurate representation, strong KYC practices, a clear audit trail, and confidentiality.

Eligibility and Experience

Candidates should bring at least 10 years of experience in fundraising, investment banking, venture capital/private equity, corporate finance, or strategic capital raising. A proven history of raising capital and successfully closing transactions is important; exposure to Indian and global markets is preferred. Strong knowledge of term sheets, valuation, cap tables, shareholder documentation, and due diligence workflows is expected, along with excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.

Performance Measures

Success in this role will be assessed through capital raised, the quality of the investor pipeline, conversion performance, time taken to close deals, compliance quality, investor satisfaction, and documentation accuracy.
