Role overview

This is a senior executive opportunity for a Canada-based leader to take charge of a profitable consumer wellness and lifestyle company as it moves into its next phase of expansion. The business serves a worldwide audience through products and experiences rooted in mindfulness, health, and personal growth.

As CEO, you will own the company’s strategic direction, operational performance, and growth trajectory. You will partner closely with the Founder, who is moving into a Chairman position, to establish the structure, leadership cadence, and scalable operating model needed for the next stage of growth. The role calls for a leader who can combine long-range strategy with strong day-to-day execution in a fast-moving, mission-led environment.

This role is especially well suited to an executive who enjoys building organizations, strengthening culture, and creating the systems required to scale a business from mid-eight-figure revenue to a much larger global presence.

Key accountabilities

• Set the overall strategy for the business and translate it into a practical growth plan that supports major revenue expansion while remaining true to the company’s mission and values.
• Direct daily operations across the organization, ensuring strong execution, efficiency, and scalability in every function.
• Recruit, coach, and develop a high-caliber leadership team that promotes accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Take ownership of financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, and long-term planning to support both profitability and sustainable growth.
• Lead business development efforts by finding new markets, partnerships, and income opportunities that broaden the company’s global reach.
• Work with product and commercial teams to shape innovation across wellness, health, coaching, events, and consumer offerings.
• Maintain strong relationships with investors, partners, customers, and the board.
• Define the organizational structure and operating model in collaboration with the Founder during the transition period.
• Improve systems, processes, and cross-functional coordination to raise operational excellence across the company.
• Act as the cultural lead for the organization, reinforcing shared values and alignment throughout the business.

Requirements

• Background in a senior executive leadership position such as CEO, COO, Managing Director, or Executive Operations Director.
• Clear track record of scaling a business and delivering substantial revenue growth in a consumer-focused or product-led environment.
• Strong command of strategy, operations, and finance, with the ability to oversee performance across the full business.
• Experience in wellness, health, FMCG, consumer goods, or a closely related lifestyle sector is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to build, lead, and grow high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including regular interaction with boards and investors.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term planning and immediate execution.
• A degree is required; an MBA is strongly preferred.
• Genuine interest in wellness, mindfulness, personal development, or purpose-led consumer brands.
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, high-growth setting.
