Role Overview
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Managing Director will spearhead the strategic direction, operational performance, and governance of Consejo Profesional de Ciencias Económicas de la Provincia del Neuquén. This full-time position is based in Singapore River within the Central Singapore Community Development Council area. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing partial remote work from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the organization’s strategic plans and objectives.
- Manage financial operations including budgeting, financial analysis, and ensuring robust financial controls and reporting.
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, optimal resource utilization, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead senior management teams, fostering leadership development and teamwork.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members, partners, regulatory agencies, and community organizations.
- Represent the organization externally at various forums and meetings.
- Continuously monitor performance metrics, identify opportunities to grow and improve services, and promote innovation.
- Ensure compliance with governance and regulatory requirements and manage organizational risks effectively.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Solid expertise in finance, including budgeting, financial oversight, and control mechanisms.
- Extensive operational management experience to streamline processes and boost organizational effectiveness.
- Demonstrated capability in business and strategic planning with a proven record of setting and achieving long-term goals.
- Proficient in driving member-services or sales growth through stakeholder engagement and enhancement of value propositions.
- Leadership experience at senior executive levels with skills to motivate, coach, and manage diverse teams.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills; fluency in English is mandatory, with Spanish proficiency considered advantageous.
- Experience collaborating with professional associations, regulatory bodies, or membership-based organizations is highly desirable.
- Academic background in economics, business administration, finance, management, or related disciplines; advanced degrees or certifications enhance candidacy.
- High ethical standards, impartial governance philosophy, and dedication to inclusive leadership are essential.
