Role overview
This is a senior leadership opportunity to take full responsibility for a profitable consumer wellness and lifestyle business that is preparing for its next stage of expansion. The company serves a worldwide audience with products and offerings in mindfulness, health, and personal development. In this role, you will shape the long-term direction of the business, drive execution across the organization, and guide it from mid-eight-figure revenue toward a much larger global scale.
You will partner closely with the Founder, who will be moving into a Chairman position, and help establish the structure, leadership framework, and operating model needed for sustainable growth. The role calls for a leader who can think strategically while staying actively involved in day-to-day execution in a fast-paced, mission-led environment.
Key accountabilities
- Set the company’s strategic direction and turn it into a practical growth roadmap that expands revenue while remaining true to the brand’s mission and values.
- Direct daily business operations to ensure strong performance, efficiency, and scalability across every function.
- Recruit, guide, and develop a high-performing leadership group that promotes ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Take ownership of financial outcomes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning to protect profitability and support growth.
- Lead commercial expansion efforts by identifying new markets, partnerships, and revenue opportunities to broaden international reach.
- Work with product and commercial stakeholders to influence innovation across wellness, health, coaching, events, and consumer product lines.
- Maintain and grow relationships with investors, partners, customers, and board members.
- Help define the company structure and operating approach alongside the Founder during the transition phase.
- Improve systems, processes, and cross-functional coordination to raise operational effectiveness.
- Act as the cultural leader of the organization, reinforcing values and alignment across the business.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate will bring proven senior executive leadership experience, strong business-building capability, and the ability to lead through scale. Experience in wellness, health, FMCG, consumer goods, or a related lifestyle sector is especially valuable. This role suits someone who combines strategic judgment, commercial instinct, and hands-on leadership in a growth environment.
Requirements
- Background in a senior executive role such as CEO, COO, Managing Director, or Executive Operations Director.
- Proven track record of scaling a business and delivering major revenue growth in a consumer-oriented or product-led setting.
- Strong command of operations, strategy, and finance with the ability to oversee full business performance.
- Experience in wellness, health, FMCG, consumer products, or a closely related lifestyle industry is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop effective teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, including experience working with boards and investors.
- Ability to balance long-term strategic thinking with near-term execution.
- A degree is required; an MBA is strongly preferred.
- Genuine interest in wellness, mindfulness, personal development, or purpose-led consumer brands.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial, high-growth setting.
